How to extract honey from the Honeycomb ?

How to extract honey from the Honeycomb ?

At a young beekeeper (in effect the first season) beginning beekeepers have recently extracted first in this year, honey. Kilogram 70. Not much, but for the first time is normal. Everything went smoothly. Bees, of course, hovering and buzzing around, but it stung just a couple of times. Now they will re-fill the cells, which they returned after the evacuation.

Work beekeeper only at first glance seems relatively "is not a dusty": Clothed protective suit and walk yourself verify hives.

In fact, should know and be able to very much.

Framework should be a lot: first, the bees swarm and they must be captured and transplanted into new hives (fortunately, swarming period has ended), and secondly, the framework should be replaced as they fill with honey. So that part is done in reserve.

In the frame is stretched thin wire, which is fixed combs.

Each frame is fastened a plate.

Fixed using a special device. This video is on the handle, which is kept in boiling water. Honeycombs placed under the wire, the hot spot goes to the wire and sticks honeycombs by melting it.

Some hives are rebuilt another floor. There are inserted into a new framework.

Not all frames can be taken away. It is normal for a third of the hundred or more sealed, honey is ready. Therefore, some frames at once returned to the hives on the "revision"

And these bees have little scope. They have built comb outside.

Sometimes you can see how hundreds of young bees emerge. Force them only enough to progryzt "cap" cell. A few days to feed other bees, then it comes out completely, to gain strength.

What is cut is called "zabrus. We can say that it is a mixture of honey, wax and bee enzymes. Very valuable stuff. Valued at ten times more expensive than honey. They say that is very helpful for colds in the winter.

Rotate the frame must be correct. At first slowly, then in full force. The framework for this Rotates 180 degrees.

In the foreground - knives for zabrusa. In the background - Beekeepers and Honey extractor.

And here it is - desired moment. Turn and honey flowing on the filter.

And looks like "Honey Love" inside the Honey extractor.
